A New York Funny
I had dinner last night with my friend (Rachie)
who is a 1st grade teacher in the city :)
I asked her what the latest and greatest is with the kiddos
and she told me that they are writing a book
on how to make the world a better place.
The assignment is a one-pager that starts with the words:
I will ....
My personal favorite is the little girl who wrote:
I will pick up a caterpillar when I see one and bring it to the nearest tree. It may take a few blocks to find a tree, but I will walk the distance.
