Medieval Times

Oh M geeeeeee!

Have you ever been to Medieval Times as an adult?!

#HIGHLYRECOMMEND

Like, as in, book your tickets this very minute and go with someone you love because you will love it and I will live vicariously through every millisecond of your adventure.

Pat Holden turned 35 and we all turned into small (intoxicated) children. Our knight was awful but our night was awesome :)

I didn't send Christmas cards this year because I cannot keep up with my own life so I'll just leave this little digital gem right here and we can call it even...

Christmas Outing

The Hall ladies got together to take James & Stella to see
and I may have enjoyed it the best of all. No shocker there ;)

Stella thought the theater seats were the highlight of the performance. She spent almost the full hour folding the seat up and down. James asked 5 minutes in if it was over yet. Ha! Ok, so maybe our two and four year old duo are not exactly theater enthusiasts, but it was a great day spent with great people who I love very much.

Friendsgiving 2015

Despite the outcome of the game, I love spending time with these fellow and future Wolverines and watching the Michigan contingency grow :)

New Leash on Life

As luck should have it, I was connected with a wonderful couple in Lincoln Park looking for a live-in dog-sitter... for three months!

Yes, please, thank you.

Please meet Pippin :)
The adorable cockapoo who I have the pleasure to stay with through February.

We are one week in and I've taken quite quickly to my adopted furry nephew-pal. My camera roll is all things Pippin. Stella has nicknamed him "Pirate Zuma" and my heart melts when I catch her having conversations with him. The barista at Elaine's coffee takes a break just to pet him. People on the street stop and smile at his mohawk. I wake up excited to take him for a walk before work and I can't wait to get home to do it all over again.

Feeling very grateful that this serendipitous second job has come along this holiday season. It's like life has handed me a high-five in the form of a four legged friendship :)
