Wooohooooo for Blue Haven!

The brilliant minds behind Donnybrook have done it again :)
Blue Haven just opened and already, it's made a mention in the NYTs online! Given all the bonanza in the city yesterday with Obama in town, I was so thrilled to see this shout-out when catching up on The Caucus:

Obama Hits Two Manhattan Fundraisers

NEW YORK – After an afternoon of populism, lunching with small-business owners in New Jersey and gabbing with the opinionated ladies of ABC-TV’s “The View,” President Obama ended his day on Wednesday at separate $30,400-a-person fundraisers here in Manhattan.

The second of the two events was at the Greenwich Village home of Anna Wintour, the celebrity editor-in-chief of the American Vogue magazine who was the inspiration for the imperious fashion editor of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada.” It followed a fundraiser at the top-dollar Four Seasons hotel.

While Mr. Obama was at Ms. Wintour’s place, reporters cooled their heels in a Village bar, the Blue Haven, as Secret Service agents and New York City police kept them and scores of curious New Yorkers at a distance – standard procedure in recent decades as presidents fulfill their fundraiser-in-chief roles.

The president’s appearance earlier on “The View,” the daytime talk show popular especially with women, was taped for broadcast on Thursday. Reporters were allowed to watch on closed-circuit televisions at ABC but were not allowed to divulge the chit-chat between Mr. Obama and the five women, including Barbara Walters and Whoopie Goldberg, who made up the conversation group. One preview: Mr. Obama, striding onstage, first kisses the panel’s resident conservative, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
