Biiirthdaaay!! Hap-happ-happiest :)

In between the BBQs, beverages and blueberry creations,
I just wanted to take a moment to wish this wonderful country
an even more wonderful birthday :)

It's easy to look at our state of affairs and frown upon two wars, a financial melt-down, and a current environmental crisis. But for one day, I hope we can all celebrate those who came before us ...
Those who created the foundation of this great nation,
and supported our every liberty

Those who fought for freedom and dreamed of better days

Those who taught us to ask not what our country can do for us,
but rather what we can do for our country

To those who have given their lives,

To those who have given their time ...

To those who believe in serving the greater good.

Today is a day to be incredibly thankful for what we do have.
Family. Friends. And Freedom :)

Happy Birthday, America!

Cheers to another 234 progressive years
