Today at Spring Break Camp we "flew to Africa" with the 3rd & 4th graders to learn about the Rain-forest and the Baka people (Central African Pygmies) that live in the villages within.
And after one of the Lincoln Park Zoo research scientists gave the kids a presentation about chimpanzee habitats and termite fishing, we asked them to write post cards home.

Mind you, she is 10 years old...
I said, "Hmmm. Hey Addy, what's your chimp doin' in this picture?"
She said, "Oh you know, just havin' a cocktail. It's rough out there. Some of those people in the pictures didn't even have clothes!"
Never a dull moment.
I love my "job" :)
