This Extraordinary, Ordinary Life

Wednesday is the only day of my week that is consistent.

Every Hump Day I wake up extra early because it's my chance to get shit done. I don't work until 2:15pm when the clock strikes "go time" to head to teach The Creative Minds, and every* minute afterwards is used to cram for grad school in attempt to rock full credit on my mid-week quiz and discussion board. [*Well that, and to procrastinate by blogging.]

Wednesdays for me, look like this:

But today was different. Today I woke up with puffy eyes which were still in recovery after renting "About Time" (again) last night.

Taking heed of the movie's morals and moving messages,
today I reminded myself of the following:

The secret formula to happiness is to take on and take in your ordinary life, day by day. To try and put aside all the tensions and worries that stop us from noticing how sweet the world can be. To just try to live every single day as if you've deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it; as if it was the full final day of your extraordinary, ordinary life.

There are lots and lots of types of days. And albeit nothing significant happened in my life today, I got to live it.  Which makes today an insignificantly great one :)
