I spent the day yesterday adjusting back to the Big Apple
after an absolutely ah!mazing wedding wknd in Northern Michigan

Unpacked my suitcase,
brought my clothes down to the good ole Bright Laundry Land,
and put all my toiletrees away in the bathroom only to find ...

Alyssa got me back from the googly goog prank
by writing "vagina" on everything in my vanity

Thoughts on Airport Idiocy

While waiting for my flight from CHI back to NYC,
I could hardly keep my eyes open I was so tired from the wknd.

Sitting there, half-asleep/half-delirious
from all the wedding awesomeness,
I overheard the United Airlines man
make the following announcement:

"Ladies & Gentlemen who are in need of wheelchair assistance,
please come to the front desk now as we are ready to assist you"

Hmmmmmmmmmm

The newfound New Yorker in me wanted to say to him,
"Ummmm, are you an idiot?!
Isn't the entire point of needing wheelchair assistance
that you can't walk?!?!
Why don't you go to them?!? A-hole!!"

But the tried-and-true Midwesterner in me
politely kept my mouth shut and rolled my eyes.

Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em ;)

Nick Howard LIVE at Summerfest ... WOW!

Some of my most fav memories of NYC that I'll forever cherish, have been the nights that I've ventured with one of my lifelong besties (Katelyn) to watch her boyfriend (Nick) play gigs throughout Manhattan.

Along the course of the last year and a half, it has truly been an absolute pleasure to watch his career take off!

Needless to say, it was pretty surreal to watch
the Nick Howard Band play Summerfest
