one of the sweet store owners smiled at Stella and asked,
"Is today a preview for Halloween?"
To which I replied,
"Oh, no -- it's just Thursday!"

In one of my lectures today I learned that John Amos Comenius, one of the most renowned "Fathers of Education", is the mastermind who first introduced the addition of pictures into textbooks and literature.
