Glenview Girls Wknd
Once my brain-cells recharge and my cheeks stop hurting from laughing at the lake all weekend, I'll be sure to write more about the funnies shared in Delevan :)
The Hideout
Instead of asking,
"Where the hell are we?"
I only found myself questioning,
"How had I never been to this hidden Chicago gem??"
The Hideout...
YES.PLEASE.THANK YOU!

Josh Moulton Art
I can't wait to pick up my "Lincoln Park Market" print today
and hang it proudly in my apartment :)
Definitely saving my pennies to buy this gem in the Fall...

How Does She Do It?
Last night Liz hosted Book Club and I was
absolutely in awe of her awesomeness :)
At one point I looked at their dining room and was all,
"I want to go to there!"
And so I did :)

"Isn't life just yummy?!"
Over the wknd I had the absolute pleasure to attend a party thrown by three incredible hosts.
Steve provided his lovely apartment as the venue
Erica provided the liquid entertainment (always a fav)
and her longtime boyfriend, the insanely talented Jon Ashton,
cooked-up a "tasting" menu that was unbelievable!
I creeped in the kitchen for a while to observe his awesomeness
but ultimately found myself glued to the serving table :)
While solving all the world's problems over beers, burgers,
braised ribs, and a bruschetta recipe that melted my heart,
Jon said, "Isn't life just yummy?"
I nodded happily in agreement.
"Yes. Life is yummy!"
The Celebration Continues
Timmy & Shannon sent this pic of my family last night and it brought a smile to my face. So fun to see other perspectives
on a truly wonderful wedding :)

Some Wear Many Hats
I apparently, wear many shoes...
Last night I walked in the door from beach volleyball and totally burst out laughing at this crime scene of happy feet.
If I didn't live alone, I'd for sure have thought there was a party going on in my apartment. Summer is clearly in full gear :)
And with that, I leave you with a deep thought
from one funny funny man:
